#71 Musketeer Inspirational Challenge: “The Inner Child”.

INTRO:
This is a fictional poem, it explains a man who has
been locked up in a prison tower and he awaits his
death. Within that space in time, he fell in trance with
his younger self, and here it begins:

Aye, staring at my reflection
At the dark side of this walls
My knees to my head
My hands tied to my feet from falling
My heart dropped in time…

inner-child

C’mon sweet child;
You hold me in your arms
For I know not myself this hour
It frightens me to be in this tower
Lingering shimmer, greyer and older

I feared, I lost in you; who I was
Then you smile; to re-live my soul;
To feel the warmth of your innocence
Kite me in roses of your garden

As death siege thee nigh
Be no regret, be no shame
For I am you… and I leave to be free.
